In the mid-Nineties, original film director Murray Lerner dug out his film of this concert and the original 8-track tapes (along with some of the other festival acts) were found in Pete Townshend’s tape archive. Negotiations finally resulted in the release of a double CD and a VHS video in 1996, with a triple vinyl and DVD release following in 2001.
