Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake apareció en 1968, acorde con la revolución lisérgica de los últimos años 60. Es un disco difícil, incluso para interpretarse en directo, incluyendo extraños sampleados y alocuciones. El año pasado un grupo británico devoto de los Smal Faces, los Small Fakers, tocaron en vivo en una gira inglesa el álbum entero.
