Hace cuatro días me sorprendí, al oir a las Shangri Las, Leader of the Pack, en el unvlog de kokoro. El recitado arranca con un "Is she really going out with him?". Al oirlo recordé el hit de Joe Jackson del mismo título. No se puede negar la referencia, aunque, según everything2.com, la frase se ha usado bastante. La verdad es que trae resonancias de primavera y juergas, no forzosamente adolescentes: "¿De verdad está saliendo con ese? ¿De verdad se lo va a llevar a la cama esta noche?" Me he hecho esa pregunta unas cuantas veces, alguna muy reciente.

La versión que pongo es del Top of the Pops, año 1979. En uno de los comentarios alguien dice: Cualquiera que empieze una canción con "Chicas guapas paseando con gorilas por mi calle" es un verdadero genio. :)
