Grandísimo cantante y autor nacido el 14 de febrero de 1947 y fallecido a los 28 años. Pese a su corta carrera, y al igual que su hijo Jeff Buckley, marcó una gran impronta en su generación.
Cuando tenía 17, su abuela le presentó a Bessie Smith y a Billie Holiday, su madre a Frank Sinatra y Judy Garland y su padre a los músicos country Hank Williams y Johnny Cash, parecía que las hadas se habían confabulado para marcar su camino.
Si a todo esto le sumas toneladas de talento natural, todo se encamina hacia una carrera brillante en la que contó con la admiración de sus colegas.
Tim nos dejó, para nuestro deleite, mucho más trabajo grabado que Jeff, del que ahora podemos disfrutar: 9 L.P's más varios directos y recopilaciones y posteriores ediciones que ya escapan a mi conocimiento.
