In Spring 2001, Allison Crowe and her band played outdoors in the snow atop Whistler Mountain, B.C. As an encore song, Allison performed Nirvana's "Smells Like Teen Spirit" - a song that means so much to many coming of age in the '90s. The revolution rolls on.

Kurt Cobain and his bandmates Krist Novoselic, and Dave Grohl and the vital grunge scene of the Pacific Northwest inspired Allison Crowe's immersion in rock following her classical and jazz roots.
